Editorial Board Diversity
We recognize diversity as a cornerstone of scholarly excellence. our editorial boards are built to represent a wide range of perspectives -geographic, disciplinary, institutional, and gender. In the line with Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) principles, we actively promote equity and inclusion across all editorial functions.
Editorial Board Appointment
Editorial members are appointed based on academic merit, ethical commitment and relevance to the journal’s scope. Nominations may be made by the Editor-in-Chief or existing board members and are reviewed through a transparent evaluation process. Candidates must demonstrate strong editorial experience, scholarly distinction, and adherence to publication ethics.
Eligibility Criteria
Editorial Board members must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- Maintain a strong record of peer-reviewed publications
- Be Affiliated with a recognized academic or research institution
- Demonstrate experience in peer review or editorial work
- strong commitment to ethical publishing practices and scholarly rigor
Editorial Roles and Responsibilities
Editor-in-Chief
Provides strategic and academic leadership for the journal
Key Duties:
* Define editorial scope and policy
* Oversee peer review and make final publication decisions
* Address ethical issues and misconduct
* Nominate editorial board members and special issue proposals
* Represent and promote the journal within the academic community.
Term: 2 years, renewable
Associate Editors
Support the Editor-in-Chief in manuscript assessment and decision-making.
Key Duties:
* Coordinate peer review processes
* Uphold quality and ethical standards
* Recommend publication decisions
* Assist in journal outreach and promotion
Term: 2 years, renewable
Regional Editors
Ensure diversity in authorship and content across different regions.
Key Duties:
* Promote the journal within assigned regions
* Attract submissions and recruit reviewers from regional networks.
* Recommend board members and thematic content relevant to their region.
Term: 2 years, renewable
Section Editors
Oversee specific subject areas or thematic sections of the journal.
Key Duties:
* Curate section content and trends in their area.
* Organize and manage special issues.
* Recommend reviewers and authors for section topics.
Term: 2 years, renewable
Editorial Board Members
Provide subject-matter expertise and contribute to journal’s development.
Key Duties:
* Submit or solicit at least one manuscript per year
* Review 2–3 manuscripts annually
* Recommend reviewers and promote the journal
Term: 2 years, renewable
Guest Editors
lead special issues on focused or emerging topics.
Key Duties:
* Propose special issue themes
* Invite authors and manage submissions
* Ensure the quality, consistency and coherence of the issue
