Abstract: A large variety of foreign bodies have been detected in the urethra and urinary bladder. Usually, these foreign bodies are self-inserted for masturbation, frequently in patients with psychiatric disorders. In this manuscript we report the case of a 72-year-old male patient who inserted a rosary into the urethra for sexual gratification and was treated with open surgical technique.
